We had started to use Sage Line 50 as this was sold to us by our previous accountant. However, we found it unnecessarily complicated and we had to call in their help to do "year-end" and other repair work. We couldn't get data from the system easily and had to run various manual systems separately to cover the areas that Sage didn't do well.

Quickbooks was easy to install and we quickly understood how it worked. We can now get data from the system by using the "drill-down" reports and we don't have to worry about the dreaded "year-end". If we make mistakes we can correct these easily and make use of the simple closing date option to safeguard our data. We rarely need any extra help so our costs have reduced significantly.
